Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure in California
- Previous experience in schools, home health, or teletherapy OT roles
- Understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to varied settings
- Collaborative approach with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in person or virtually
- Monitor and record student progress, maintaining compliance with educational guidelines
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning for student success
- Offer training or consultation for school staff and caregivers as needed
