This contract opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, through May 29, 2027, with immediate interviews and hiring. As an itinerant OT, you'll support students across multiple schools, providing a rewarding blend of direct therapy, evaluations, and participation in IEP meetings. You'll work a steady 37.5 hours per week, collaborating with educational teams and making a difference in students lives.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous pediatric or K-12 school-based experience preferred
• Strong skills in student evaluation, intervention planning, and delivery of direct therapy
• Experience contributing to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable working across multiple campus sites (itinerant model)
• Ability to meet all district onboarding and fingerprinting requirements prior to start

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations in line with IEP and district guidelines
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students, fostering educational and functional growth
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers on intervention plans
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, documenting progress and supporting student goals
• Manage an itinerant caseload and adapt to diverse school environments
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district policies
