Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Virginia Occupational Therapist (OT) Certification is required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
• Strong assessment and intervention skills for school-based therapy
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students within an educational framework
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support IEP goals
• Perform assessments to determine therapy needs and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
• Assist with adaptive equipment recommendations and modifications on campus
• Foster a nurturing, encouraging space for student growth and learning

This position offers a consistent schedule of 36.65 hours per week, working Monday through Friday for 7.33 hours per day.
