Desired Qualifications:
- Valid OT licensure in the state of California
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Prior experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and modify individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Passion for enhancing student independence and participation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify needs related to fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care tasks
- Develop targeted intervention plans with measurable goals, tailored to each students unique needs
- Consult regularly with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Track and document student progress, updating plans as needed to promote consistent growth
- Deliver both one-on-one and small group therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the collaborative problem-solving process
- Offer training and resources to school staff to reinforce therapeutic strategies across settings
