Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience in school-based OT services or comparable pediatric settings
- Knowledge of home health OT practices and resources
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Flexibility and comfort adapting to diverse caseloads and environments
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' functional abilities and needs within school and virtual environments
- Design and implement therapy interventions supporting students educational and developmental goals
- Provide recommendations for accommodations or modifications in both classroom and remote settings
- Collaborate frequently with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Track progress through detailed documentation and timely reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
- Offer training and support to teachers and families to maximize students access to learning
