Step into a meaningful role supporting K-12 students by providing Occupational Therapy services in a vibrant school environment near Vancouver, WA. This contract opportunity allows you to make a real difference, collaborating closely with educational teams and families while managing a diverse caseload of 55 students across multiple age groups. The assignment spans from January 3, 2021, through June 17, 2022, with the exciting potential for renewal in the upcoming school year.
What Youll Need:
- Valid OT license in Washington State
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to a variety of student needs and educational settings
- Comfortable working with K-12 students and a range of disabilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 55 school-aged children
- Conduct assessments and provide individualized interventions
- Participate in developing and implementing IEPs in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate consistently with families and educational teams to support student success
- Travel between schools within the district as needed
