Job Description

A contract Occupational Therapist position is available supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a public school district near Vancouver, WA. This role offers an opportunity to provide therapeutic services to a caseload of approximately 55 children, promoting their development and educational success.

Location: Vancouver, WA

Position Details:

  • Approximately 35 hours per week
  • Serving K-12 students across multiple schools
  • Caseload of 55 students requiring occupational therapy intervention

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students in collaboration with educational teams
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services that address developmental, sensory, and motor needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Support students in achieving functional skills necessary for success in the educational environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid ESA credential in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and healthcare providers
  • Flexibility in scheduling and interview availability
