Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current California Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs
- Familiarity with best practices for supporting diverse learners in K-12
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for students across grades K-12
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support sensory, motor, and adaptive skill development, helping students access and participate fully in their educational program
- Communicate progress and recommendations to staff and families, building strong relationships with all stakeholders
