Youll be covering services both in Valparaiso and in Portage, delivering therapeutic interventions and collaborating with educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required
  • Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to develop individualized and group therapy plans
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Dedication to supporting diverse student needs
  • Team-oriented mindset with adaptability and organizational strengths
  • License and resume must be submitted for consideration

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students across caseloads in both Valparaiso and Portage
  • Conduct evaluations and implement individualized treatment sessions
  • Monitor and record student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals
  • Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and special education teams
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and professional guidelines
