Job Description

Step into an engaging and rewarding contract-to-hire opportunity supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist near Valley Farms, AZ. This full-time position offers the chance to foster student growth and independence, supporting a caseload of approximately 45 students across grade levels in a collaborative educational setting. Youll have the flexibility to leverage your school-based OT experience, and the ability to adapt proven strategies from home health, teletherapy, and healthcare backgrounds.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active and valid Arizona OT license
  • Experience serving K-12 students in school or related environments
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and adapt interventions to diverse needs
  • Teletherapy experience is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess, document, and monitor student progress toward functional and academic objectives
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students strengths and areas for growth
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers for comprehensive student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Integrate evidence-based strategies and assistive technologies to enhance student engagement
