Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Comfort working with K-12 students, including students with varying needs
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and other school professionals
• Ability to conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy services onsite
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students needs and create individualized intervention plans
• Provide direct occupational therapy services and monitor progress for students in K-12
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to integrate therapy goals in classroom settings
• Document interventions and maintain compliance with state and federal education guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Provide guidance to staff and families on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
