Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a part-time Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students for the 20262027 school year. This contract role offers the chance to contribute to student success through targeted therapy services across 12 school locations in Valencia, CA, while enjoying a flexible schedule of two days (16 hours) per week. The position emphasizes both in-person and teletherapy modalities, guaranteeing paid administrative and team collaboration time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and needs assessments for students.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment programs in close alignment with students IEPs.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain clear, accurate student records and progress notes in compliance with school policies.
  • Provide direct therapy intervention while also consulting with staff on classroom modifications and strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of California.
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting prior to employment.
  • Previous experience with school systems or diverse student populations is a plus.
