Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid OT licensure for the state of Colorado (required)
  • Previous experience in school-based OT or working with children/adolescents (preferred)
  • Familiarity with IEP process, assessment tools, and documentation
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and other related service providers
  • Adaptable approach for both individual and group interventions
  • Comfortable handling a diverse caseload ranging across various age groups and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver both direct and indirect OT services for students in preschool through high school
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary teams, attending IEP meetings to develop strategies and monitor progress
  • Design and implement interventions to support students functional independence in the classroom
  • Provide consultation and training for educational staff and families as needed
  • Maintain thorough records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Flexibility to provide services primarily onsite, with consideration for virtual support if necessary
