Job Description

Make a positive impact on the life of a middle school student through your expertise as an Occupational Therapist in a supportive educational environment. In this role, you will provide direct therapy services to a 6th-grade student, once per week for a 30-minute session onsite. Your background in school-based OT, as well as experience with home health or healthcare occupational therapy, will help you deliver impactful, evidence-based interventions tailored to the student's unique needs.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Experience providing occupational therapy in school environments strongly preferred
  • Skills in delivering OT interventions in school, home health, or healthcare settings
  • Ability to develop and document effective and engaging therapy plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one direct therapy services to a 6th-grade student (30 minutes weekly)
  • Assess student needs, set achievable goals, and tailor interventions accordingly
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff for cohesive care
  • Maintain thorough documentation to meet school and compliance requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings if needed, providing insight on student progress
