Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across a district known for its close-knit schoolsall within blocks of each other. This full-time contract role offers the chance to work collaboratively with another experienced Occupational Therapist to serve a diverse caseload of around 400-500 students who receive services through their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Assignments will be thoughtfully divided to provide high-quality, individualized care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering occupational therapy services to PK-12 students based on IEP goals
  • Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, including educators, aides, and families
  • Assessing student needs and creating customized intervention plans
  • Documenting progress and maintaining required records in compliance with regulations
  • Providing direct therapy, consultation, and training for staff as needed
  • Traveling between assigned schoolsall located conveniently close to reduce commute time

Desired background and skills:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license (Idaho or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous school-based OT experience highly valued
  • Understanding of IEP process and special education compliance
  • Strong time management and adaptability; ability to prioritize effectively across multiple campuses
  • Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Candidates willing to relocate will be given special consideration, as this position is onsite only. The contract runs from August 17th, 2026, through May 20th, 2027, providing a stable and engaging full-time assignment.
