Step into a pivotal role supporting students by providing expert occupational therapy services in educational settings near Tustin, CA. This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through either early June or late April, with start and end dates tailored to your availability.

Youll be serving as an itinerant occupational therapist across multiple schools in the Laguna Niguel region as well as the Early Childhood Center. The caseload involves students of various ages and requires hands-on engagement, making your swift adaptability and solid school-based experience highly valued. Direct on-site support is essential, with opportunities for both full-time (five days per week) or part-time schedules to fit your needs.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active California OT licensure (no COTAs for this opening)
• Prior occupational therapy experience within school environments is required
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Adept at quickly adapting to new school settings and diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students across various age groups
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and collaborate with educators & families
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and district standards
• Adapt therapy approaches to support each students learning goals
• Travel between multiple assigned school sites within the San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Niguel areas
