Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students across two schools (K-8 and Elementary) near Tucson, AZ. This role consists of 40 hours per week from March 30th through May 28th, 2027perfect for professionals energized by school-based service and variety in their workdays.

Youll provide traditional OT support, collaborating closely with school teams and utilizing an IEP system to help students thrive. As an itinerant position, youll split your time between two campuses, engaging with a diverse caseload of children and assisting in their academic and developmental success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy license
• IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Background check as required by Arizona standards
• Experience in K-8 and/or elementary settings is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in school-based OT, home health OT, or healthcare OT environments
• Familiarity with IEP systems and special education documentation

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess student needs, creating and implementing effective OT interventions
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to support IEP goals
• Maintain timely and accurate records in the designated IEP system
• Provide consultation and training for staff and caregivers as needed
• Travel between two assigned schools to meet students needs
