Job Description

A travel Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available to provide specialized therapy services within a school setting in Troy, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work in an educational environment, supporting students who require occupational therapy to enhance their learning and developmental outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
  • Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and modify strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports.
  • Participate in meetings and provide professional input on student goals and accommodations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid occupational therapy license and credentials.
  • Prior experience working with children in a school environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy and educational frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to travel assignments, with a reliable means of transportation.
