Desired Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Assess students needs and design individualized treatment plans to help them access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and achieve IEP goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress reports in line with school district policies
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, offering expert guidance on accommodations and modifications as necessary
• Educate and support staff on intervention strategies and techniques
