Available as either part-time or full-time, this contract role is conveniently located near the Roanoke, Virginia area. Qualifications and Experience:

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric and adolescent therapy techniques
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support student success
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and other therapists to integrate therapy goals within the school curriculum
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for student accommodations and modifications
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
