An occupational therapist (OT) is needed for a contract position in a school setting located in Trenton, NC. This role involves providing therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting their educational and developmental needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid North Carolina OT Licensure required
• Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, school staff, and families

Job Details:

• Contract position
• 30-35 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Age group served: Kindergarten to 12th grade
• Location: Trenton, NC

Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and provide individualized therapy services for students
• Develop and implement therapy goals and treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Participate in team meetings and assist with student assessments and eligibility determinations
