Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing school-based therapy services
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy to students per IEP requirements
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students needs and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other therapists to integrate therapy goals into the educational program
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation aligned with district and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of measurable student objectives
  • Offer training and guidance to school staff and caregivers to support student success
