What youll need to succeed:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license
  • School-based OT experience highly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to support a diverse student population

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing occupational therapy services to K-12 students with varied needs
  • Assessing and developing individualized intervention plans to enhance students academic participation and daily functioning
  • Consulting with teachers, families, and other specialists to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom setting
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Attending IEP meetings and contributing your expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team

In this role, youll work one day per week (7 hours) on a consistent schedule, allowing for impactful, focused care within a manageable caseload. Youll enjoy the stability and opportunity for long-term placement while fostering critical skills development for students.
