Job Description

Youll join a supportive district with around 500 special education students, known for their collaborative culture and kind leadership. The director leads a team eager to welcome travel professionals, ensuring you feel valued as you transition. The district will need confirmation of your relocation plans and current status within the PED licensure process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid OT license; must provide PED documentation
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Ability to serve diverse elementary and high school populations
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Dedicated to individualized, student-centered therapeutic interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT services at two elementary schools, with a blended caseload of 19 at one site, 15 at another, and 2 high schoolers with more intensive needs
  • Walk between the elementary and high school campuses for seamless service delivery
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
  • Collaborate closely with SPED staff, teachers, and support personnel
  • Keep timely records and assist with compliance documentation
