Whats Needed:
- Valid California licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required for SLPs)
- Previous experience working with K-12 students is a plus
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy, including IEP processes
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 65 students across 2-3 schools
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in an itinerant role
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct and indirect services to K-12 students, targeting a range of developmental, speech, and occupational needs
- Support IEP development and attend team meetings; administrative and collaboration time is provided and paid
- Travel between assigned campuses (paid travel between schools)
- Maintain organized documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
- Participate in training on the districts IEP system; benefit from dedicated therapy spaces at each campus
This contract position is full-time (40 hours per week), allowing for a balanced, flexible workload in a supportive academic environment. Start dates align with the 2026-2027 school year calendar.
