What were seeking:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Ability to deliver services in multiple formats: in-person, home-based, and teletherapy
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, IDEA, and related documentation
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and educational staff
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage caseload demands and varying work environments
- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and following ethical standards in pediatric/educational care
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify students functional abilities and intervention needs
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Utilizing evidence-based strategies for both direct and consultative services
- Documenting progress and outcomes with accuracy and timeliness
- Providing support through home health or teletherapy options when required
- Participating in team meetings and contributing expertise to multidisciplinary discussions
