This full-time contract position focuses on delivering high-quality occupational therapy services throughout the 2026-2027 school year, supporting school-aged children in reaching their potential both academically and personally.
In this dynamic role, you will provide assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success. Your skill set will be utilized in a variety of settings, including traditional in-school therapy, home health support, and teletherapy services, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to each learner's needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California OT license (required)
- Experience working as an OT in schools, healthcare, home health, or teletherapy environments
- Strong understanding of pediatric OT practices and interventions for K-12 students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy, documentation, and collaborative support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough student assessments and develop targeted therapeutic interventions
- Prepare and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in partnership with staff and families
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions through in-person, home, and virtual platforms as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing progress monitoring
