Step into a dynamic role supporting students from preschool through 8th grade as an Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity offers an engaging blend of direct treatment and consultative services within a collaborative school-based team near Tempe, AZ. You'll have a positive impact by providing essential therapy to students while also mentoring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

Key Qualifications:

• Active Arizona OT license required
• Valid IVP fingerprint card
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable managing a diverse caseload and supervising 1-2 COTAs
• Passion for supporting students with varying needs

Role Overview:

• Work a consistent 37.5-hour schedule each week for the duration of the 2026/2027 school year
• Deliver 15 to 20 hours per week of direct occupational therapy, with each student typically seen for 60 minutes per month
• Maintain and manage a caseload ranging from 40 to 60 students (including direct and consult services)
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans under the workload model
• Supervise and support 1-2 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to ensure student progress
• Complete necessary documentation and participate in team meetings as needed
