Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience delivering therapy in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy environments
- Strong background in pediatric assessment and individualized treatment planning
- Adept at collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communicator, both in-person and through virtual platforms
- Comfortable managing caseloads and documenting progress in compliance with educational and medical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students motor, sensory, and functional abilities, determining individualized therapy goals
- Develop and implement evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions
- Support students in improving fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills crucial for school success
- Collaborate with educational staff, caregivers, and other practitioners to integrate therapy recommendations into daily routines
- Maintain comprehensive records of interventions, progress, and outcomes
- Deliver services flexibly: in-person at schools, via teletherapy, or in a home health setting as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team decisions
