A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth services to support students in a school setting. This position focuses on providing remote therapy services to two elementary-aged students, offering flexibility and the potential for virtual delivery.

Location:

• Services to be provided in Waterflow, NM, with the students based in Shiprock, NM.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 30 minutes of direct occupational therapy services weekly to each student (two students, both age 7).
• Provide 1-2 hours of total service time per week, including indirect and documentation tasks.
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized intervention plans, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with educators and caregivers to ensure goals are met through telehealth platforms.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based services.
• Service period runs from August 3 through May 19.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials to practice in New Mexico.
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in educational settings.
• Proven skills in delivering services via telehealth.
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with school-based therapy protocols and documentation requirements.
