A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth and teletherapy services within a school environment. This role focuses on supporting students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade, providing crucial therapeutic interventions remotely.
Location: Visalia, CA
Contract Duration: August 12, 2026 June 4, 2027
Weekly Hours: 8-10
Student Caseload: Approximately 12
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services via telehealth platforms to students aged TK-6th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and participation within the school setting
- Utilize teletherapy tools to effectively engage students and monitor their development
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with licensing and school district standards
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience delivering telehealth or teletherapy occupational therapy services is essential
- Familiarity with school-based therapy models and age-appropriate interventions for elementary-aged children
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with school staff and families remotely
