A contract opportunity is available for a School-Based Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth and teletherapy services, serving students in a K-12 educational setting. The role focuses on delivering therapeutic interventions to support students' developmental and functional needs via remote platforms alongside in-person school-based services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Providing teletherapy sessions to students, ensuring engagement and progress through virtual platforms.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Current California Occupational Therapist License.
- Proven experience in providing occupational therapy in school settings, particularly through telehealth and teletherapy modalities.
- Familiarity with K-12 age group developmental milestones and educational standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school personnel.
Position details:
- Location: San Rafael, CA.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Contract role serving K-12 students in an educational environment.
