Job Description

A remote occupational therapy position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting through telehealth and teletherapy services. This role requires a licensed Occupational Therapist with a valid California OT license to provide specialized interventions remotely, enhancing student participation and success across academic and functional tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver school-based occupational therapy services via telehealth platforms to students in grades K-12.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs.
  • Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, documenting outcomes in compliance with educational and professional standards.
  • Participate in meetings and provide input on student support strategies and accommodations.
  • Ensure all interventions align with state and federal guidelines for school therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapy license.
  • Experience providing occupational therapy in school settings, preferably with teletherapy/telehealth experience.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and telecommunication equipment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and education staff.
  • Familiarity with school-age developmental stages and related therapy goals.

Schedule and Location:

  • Remote work based in California.
  • Part-time schedule, 20 hours per week.
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $65.00. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
