Job Description
Offering occupational therapy services in a school setting located in Shiprock, NM, with telehealth options available. This contract position focuses on providing support to two students aged 7 years, each requiring 30 minutes of direct OT services per week. The overall weekly commitment ranges from 1 to 2 hours, including indirect service time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions to two students for 30 minutes each per week
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate OT goals with the students academic environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of direct and indirect services in compliance with relevant guidelines
- Provide telehealth services effectively if working remotely
- Participate in meetings and communications as needed to support student progress
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in New Mexico or eligibility to practice via telehealth
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school environment
- Ability to adapt services for telehealth delivery where applicable
- Strong understanding of pediatric OT needs and school-based therapy regulations
- Effective communication and documentation skills
