Job Description

An occupational therapist is sought to provide telehealth services to two students, both aged 7, in a school setting. The role involves delivering 30 minutes of direct service per week to each student and up to an additional hour for indirect time, totaling approximately 1 to 2 hours weekly. This contract position will run from August 3 through May 19. Virtual occupational therapists are welcome to apply, offering flexibility in service delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting telehealth occupational therapy sessions tailored to the developmental needs of young students
  • Collaborating with teachers and school staff to support student progress
  • Completing necessary documentation and indirect services such as treatment planning and progress reporting
  • Maintaining compliance with school protocols and relevant guidelines

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid occupational therapy license allowing practice in the area
  • Experience providing pediatric occupational therapy, preferably in a school or telehealth setting
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage students remotely and liaise with educational staff
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to meet weekly service and documentation requirements
