Job Description
Occupational therapy services are needed to support school-based telehealth and in-person programs in New Castle, Delaware. The role involves providing comprehensive OT duties for school-age children within a well-established school district.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services aligned with individual student needs via telehealth and on-site visits.
- Collaborating with educational staff and families to support students developmental and functional goals.
- Adhering to district policies and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Participating in scheduled interviews and discussions with the director to tailor services effectively.
Qualifications and experience:
- Current Delaware occupational therapy license is required.
- Experience in school-based OT services, including telehealth delivery.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and various disabilities.
- Flexibility to interview on short notice as scheduled by the director.
- Willingness to comply with sick leave policies.
Location and schedule:
- Position based in New Castle, DE, within approximately one hour of Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
- Contract assignment with hours and start date to be determined.
