A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services with a focus on telehealth and onsite therapy. This position involves working one day per week from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., providing a total of 4 contracted hours. The role supports elementary students with a variety of disabilities, delivering essential therapeutic interventions within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students.
- Utilize both telehealth and onsite therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure consistent support and progress monitoring.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license required.
- Experience working with an elementary school caseload.
- Skilled in both telehealth and direct school-based occupational therapy services.
- Ability to manage a variety of disabilities and adapt interventions accordingly.
