Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist providing telehealth services within a school setting serving students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade. This position involves delivering remote occupational therapy interventions tailored to meet the developmental and educational needs of approximately 12 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based occupational therapy techniques to support student participation and success.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in virtual meetings with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and support student goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapy License required.
- Experience providing occupational therapy via telehealth or teletherapy platforms.
- Familiarity with school-based therapy services and pediatric populations, especially TK-6th grade.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage students, families, and educational personnel.
Assignment Details:
- Contract period from August 12, 2026, through June 4, 2027.
- Approximately 8-10 hours of service per week.
- Location: Lindsay, California.
