An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to provide telehealth and in-school support within Greenwood, SC. This contract position offers 10-15 hours per week, allowing for flexible scheduling within a professional educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services via telehealth platforms and direct on-site sessions.
- Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina.
- Proven experience providing occupational therapy in school settings.
- Proficiency in telehealth service delivery and familiarity with relevant technology.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule and maintain professional autonomy under a 1099 contract arrangement.
