Essential Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in Massachusetts
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to supporting students academic and functional success
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students needs to help them succeed in the classroom
- Develop goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to elementary-aged children
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for each student
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding best OT practices in schools
This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week across five days, working directly with elementary school students in need of occupational therapy services. You'll contribute your expertise to help students build the skills they need for both academic and daily living tasks.
