Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing occupational therapy services in a vibrant school community. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity is set at 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to work closely with about 30 students, most of whom are at the elementary level. In this rewarding role, youll also collaborate with a diverse range of educators and staff across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
  • Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy is highly preferred.
  • Ability to create and implement effective treatment plans for students with various needs.
  • Comfortable working with a caseload of primarily elementary-school-age children.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, families, and staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage documentation and student progress effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and individual needs.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and families to support students educational participation.
  • Monitor, track, and report on student progress.
  • Provide consultative services and assist with strategies for classroom adaptation and success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT insights to the educational team.
  • Maintain all required documentation and records in a timely and thorough manner.
