Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state OT licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds welcome
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Current CPR certification and up-to-date clearances as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to identify strengths and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and IEP support
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to maximize student independence
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services in both group and individual settings
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reports according to district policies
  • Educate staff and families with resources and strategies to promote students skills in the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights on student accommodations
