Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students growth and success in a welcoming educational environment. This full-time position centers around providing occupational therapy services across a diverse K-12 caseload, tailored by individualized direct service minutes. Youll collaborate with educational teams, deliver engaging therapy, contribute to IEP meetings, and help students foster independence and functional skills. The assignment begins in fall 2025, with a commitment of 37.5 hours each week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Washington State OT license and ESA certification
- Prior experience in school-based settings is greatly valued
- Strong understanding of K-12 student development and needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to manage a rotating schedule between 4-5 schools
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to adapt to varied environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted therapy interventions
- Provide group and individual OT sessions aligned to IEP goals
- Document services and track progress with attention to detail
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student plans
- Travel between school sites to fulfill caseload (900950 direct service minutes weekly)
- Support both elementary and secondary-aged students
