Key Qualifications:

• Active Alaska (AK) Occupational Therapy license required
• Type C Certification mandatory for all applicants
• School-based experience preferred, especially delivering services to diverse student populations
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and student progress monitoring
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and adaptability in dynamic school settings
• AK-certified candidates strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services in-person, adhering to state and district guidelines
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student learning and participation
• Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and compliance with special education regulations
• Attend team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary planning
• Remain engaged in ongoing professional development and certification maintenance
