Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for Arizona (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in school-based OT preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with IEP teams, students, and families
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Team-focused, organized, and adaptable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student screenings and comprehensive assessments
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to families and teams
- Evaluate students functional abilities and educational needs
- Share information and progress with IEP teams and parents
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEPs and/or 504 plans
- Provide direct, evidence-based therapy services to students
- Support and collaborate with teachers and COTAs as needed
