Job Description

This opportunity seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students across K-12 in a school setting located in Sun City, AZ. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week for the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to evaluate students occupational therapy needs
  • Analyze and interpret assessment results and data to drive individualized plans
  • Collaborate with the IEP team and parents by clearly communicating evaluation outcomes
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Occupational Therapy components of IEPs and/or 504 plans
  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to the individual needs of students
  • Assist teachers and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in supporting student progress when assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license with experience in school-based settings
  • Proficient in conducting evaluations and developing IEPs/504 plans for school-aged children
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently within the school environment
