Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
  • Familiarity with a variety of school-based therapy techniques and assistive technology
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads spanning elementary, middle, and high school students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students occupational therapy needs in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to educational goals
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into students daily routines
  • Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school district and state regulations
  • Contribute to a positive, solution-oriented atmosphere that fosters student growth and independence
