Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Nevada (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working with school-aged children at multiple developmental levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
  • Understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop effective, individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
  • Enthusiasm for fostering growth and making a positive impact on students educational journeys

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and design tailored intervention plans for students with diverse needs
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions and monitor progress toward individual goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to create supportive learning environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input on OT strategies
  • Document services and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal guidelines
