Qualifications:

  • Active Nevada Occupational Therapist license
  • Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations
  • Background collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in school settings
  • Comfortable managing a variety of caseloads with students in grades K-12
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation and therapy to meet students individual educational and developmental needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Track student progress; maintain accurate records and participate in meetings with parents and staff
  • Serve as an advocate for students access to services and modifications within the school environment
  • Educate staff and families regarding strategies and adaptive equipment to support students
  • Balance a consistent weekly scheduleMonday through Friday, working 35-40 hours each week
