What were looking for:

• Active Ohio occupational therapist license (required)
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations (preferred)
• Ability to adapt OT strategies to a broad developmental age range, from elementary to high school
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Enthusiasm for supporting childrens educational and functional goals
• Commitment to ethical practice and continuing education

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students needs in motor function, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans
• Provide direct and indirect services in individual or group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure integrated therapy within the educational environment
• Track progress, document findings, and participate in the IEP process
• Stay informed about best practices in school-based OT
