Qualifications:

• Current Ohio occupational therapist license
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with diverse developmental and age levels, including elementary, middle, and high school students
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for various student needs and learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Assess students functional needs within the school setting and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to promote student participation in academic and daily activities
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into students' routines
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals; participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Offer guidance and support to school staff on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
