Job Description

Make a meaningful difference by supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a therapeutic day school environment. This contract opportunity provides consistent hours32.5 hours each weekserving students throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll play a vital part in fostering independence, life skills, and educational growth for children who benefit most from thoughtful, individualized support.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Occupational Therapy license in Illinois
  • Experience providing services in school settings or with children preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to a student-centered, therapeutic approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve their IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
  • Conduct assessments and adapt strategies to maximize participation and success
  • Document services, goals, and outcomes in line with educational guidelines
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and families as needed
